When users in Brazil access the Report Abuse interface, the only informative text visible under the submit button is:
Report illegal content or content harmful to children
Other informative sentences that normally appear in the Report Abuse interface (both in regions without a special illegal content forms and in regions with one, like the EU and UK) such as:
We’ll review your report and take appropriate action. We won’t share your information with any user you report.
are missing for them, which I believe is unintended.
For Brazilian users, the Report Abuse interface currently looks like this under the submit button:
In comparison, in the EU and UK, the interface shows the following informative text under the submit button:
It is still present even for regions where such forms do not exist:
This causes them to miss important context about how Report Abuse works. A similar issue occurred after the UK illegal content report form was released, but it was later corrected and now the interface displays the full informative text. Users in other regions, including those without a special form, still see the full informative text.
(root cause here is the release of that form, based on similar past occurrences, that’s what I’m trying to say)
Steps to Reproduce:
- Travel to Brazil (shoutout to Brazilian users

) - Go to any content you want to report and click Report Abuse
- Observe that only:
“Report illegal content or content harmful to children”
is visible under the submit button, while other sentences such as:
“We’ll review your report and take appropriate action. We won’t share your information with any user you report.”
are missing
