Users who created/contributed to Avatar Outfit Games are being false banned for "Harmful Content/Behavior"

Hello,

Many users including myself have been falsely banned for “Harmful Content/Behavior” which links to Roblox experiences created (public and private) in the avatar outfit genre.

Users reported their main and group holder accounts getting banned along with some having their groups associated with these Roblox experiences getting locked due to a new ban-wave being done with AI supposedly.

Here are screenshots from myself and others who have been affected by the banwave:

Some have made posts about it on X:

Please do something about this Roblox.

My friend was also terminated for an old outfit game of his. It seems to be very widespread.

@jerxl0l
I’m assuming this was triggered by an outfit system that these developers used, do you know which system these had?

There may have been a backdoor (require/getfenv) in the outfit system since all of the outfit games that are still up don’t seem to have the same outfit system as the games that got taken down. It’s common for a lot of people to share the same system and scripts so if the owner or somebody with access to edit the system then all of the developers using the system could also have the backdoor.

I’ve been told they were using TwinPlayz’s free outfit system but I never used any of TwinPlayz’s scripts for my games which doesn’t make sense in my case.

The downside is that even when accounts are reinstated, their groups remain locked, forcing users to go through an entirely separate process to unlock them. This is another issue that needs to be addressed and fixed, reinstated accounts shouldn’t have locked groups.

Can vouch my friend was banned and community was locked with 11.5K members.

edit: Account was restored instantly after an appeal on the same day, community was also restored after several hours.

I don’t think its specifically items in the experiences, but rather the names and about sections. My game, which wasn’t an outfit game but rather a rebuild of the dollhouse roleplay map got me banned, despite the game being private and only being a simple revamp of the map to test my building skills. (I do understand how Roblox’s AI may have seen this as a reupload of the dollhouse game but I absolutely despise that community and its literally just a build I was making for fun.. :sob:)

This isn’t strictly limited to outfit games from what I see. A friend of mine was banned for the same exact reason but in this case it was an empty baseplate game.

The only stuff that could’ve possibly got it banned was an old vibe coded moderation system he had implemented. This was a generic kick/banasync system that stored UserId’s. (I am not sure if it used any datastores.)

As well as the game name being called “Dollhouse Roleplay VC” just for clarification it was not a DHRP game and it was just an empty baseplate. As far as we know it didn’t break any rules/TOS.

For any moderators manually reviewing this post. This is/was his profile Bzths, (2742922545). Please re-review his appeal/ban.

Edit: Used wrong screenshot, old screenshot was a different friend who was banned several years back. Said screenshot has been removed. Sorry for any confusion the prior screenshot could’ve caused.

Edit 2: Added a secondary screenshot for more evidence.

Final Edit: A LOT of his accounts were enforcement banned along w/ his main. Approximately 20 or more alt accounts.

Update:

A few people are receiving responses to their appeals through the support page and they are getting denied and AI is updating the violation category to “Sexual Content”

Friend of mine got the same exact thing. Hopefully roblox fixes this issue before too long.

Hi, I found the reason why a lot of people (outfit games specifically) are getting terminated.

Roblox has recently been pushing out updates to remove both games “Dollhouse Rollplay” and “so crying rn” completely off of the platform in order to make the community safer, but there has been a community of developers behind DHRP and socrn who repeatedly reupload the games, allowing these communities to resurface.

Roblox most likely released a very strict AI ban detection wave which targeted specifically these communities, and outfit games happen to have “dhrp” or “socrn” tagged in their descriptions.

A lot of other games have also been targeted for this (as seen in other user’s replies) which are associated with dhrp or have any tags with these communities.

I looked at all of the outfit games that are still up, and none of them have these tags.

i believe even if the game didn’t have these words in the games description the ai moderation would also flag these games for the outfits inside the game that had items inside their humanoid descriptions with these words, maybe even possibly the items description too, as i have heard people that didn’t even have any of these words in their games description got banned too

Most flawless platform moderation system ever

Heyo guys,

I advise everyone to filter their games for items that might contain these words or keywords in their name or description. I own outfit games, and nothing has happened so far. After filtering, I also discovered that none of the items in my games contain any of these keywords (so that could be the reason?).

I’d also advise checking your systems, since a lot of people reuse systems made by the community. Double-check that there isn’t anything that could be harmful. I doubt this is the reason by itself; however, it could be one of multiple reasons for the ban rather than just the keywords. I personally use my own custom-made system.

As for the appeals, don’t give up until Roblox either provides an explanation or reverses your ban. I don’t think this is fair to anyone.

Greatest platform moderation system ever, I tell you. So many issues and keep acting like they are number 1 website on twitter.

This is unacceptable behaviour. Creators shouldn’t get banned just because a famous game genre gets marked as inappropriate by the moderation.

got terminated and all my games closed for a game i contributed to 2 years ago, what an amazing platform

The same thing happened to me, except I did not create or own the game. I was only a high rank in the group, which gave me Studio access. The game was also private, which makes this even more confusing. Despite that, my main account and my other accounts were terminated as well. I lost a lot in limiteds, I can say that much.

I’m not sure whether this was a one off situation, but it seems possible that the moderation system is banning anyone with access to these games, regardless of whether they actually created or contributed to them. Has anyone else who only had Studio access been affected?

same issue over here, over 10M+ robux gone that’s great..

edit: this is sadly happening to everyone of us, i hope you all get unbanned : (

appealing does seem to help for some people, but in my case just like many, it does not help at all except making us waste time into writing an appeal that’ll get instantly rejected
