Using A Mouse On iPadOS disables keyboard while mouse is being used, mouse input registered as touch input instead

On iPadOS, if you use a keyboard and mouse, individually they work, but when moving the mouse, the keyboard input stops working.

Additionally, sometimes mouse input is registered as touch input in many games. (Any mouse input enables jump button and joystick also) I’m not sure why this is happening, but I feel the two problems are related somehow.

Reproduction Steps:

  • On an ipad, connect keyboard and mouse, regardless of whether they are bluetooth or not
  • Go in game
  • You will see the joystick and jump button when doing any mouse movements

Tested on: Volleyball Legends | Play on Roblox and Eternal Towers of Hell | Play on Roblox

Device Specifications
iPad Air 128 GB iPadOS 26.3.1
Mouse: Suteke mouse
Keyboard: NOOX keyboard

Expected behavior

I expect to use my mouse just fine with iPad on roblox

We’re currently working on adding a proper mouse support for iOS.

In its default mode, iOS treats a mouse as a touch assistance device, so it is unfortunately triggering all touch input.
