Hello! I’m new to making knockback, and I’m unsure on what’s the better way of using body velocities in knockback systems. Is it better for a body velocity to be destroyed 0.1 seconds after it is created, to achieve something like ApplyImpulse(), or should i be destroyed a while later, like 0.5 seconds? Or does it depend on what kind of knockback I want to achieve?
It depends on how far you knock back the person. The further you knock them back the longer you need to keep the body velocity active
