Using TopbarSafeInsets makes it very inconvenient to give translation feedback

When giving translation feedback via the Roblox menu, ScreenGuis with TopbarSafeInsets will not look as expected. Instead of only taking up the topbar area, it takes up the entire viewport.

Reproduction steps

1: Create a ScreenGui with ScreenInsets set to TopbarSafeInsets
2: Add any UI that uses a scaled size or position
3: Publish the game and enter translation feedback mode on the Roblox Client
4: Notice how the UI scales to the entire screen instead of just the topbar safe area

Expected behavior

I expect all of the UI to stay in the same place and be the same dimensions when the user wants to give translation feedback. The topbar isn’t visible in this mode, but it’s very inconvenient having the UI cover the screen like that. You can barely give feedback if the experience uses TopbarSafeInsets.

This bug is still happening in all experiences that I play, including in studio.

Would appreciate a reply from an engineer because this is infact still happening!

Since the settings button and network stats ui are using TopbarSafeInsets, it blows up when you start to give translation feedback. You can reproduce the visual issue with the steps in the original post.

Still an issue!

Hi avocado, this should be fixed now. Could you confirm whether you’re still running into this issue?
