Currently I am working on A system that limits the speed on declinations for my vehicles. I am using the standard roblox vehicleseat to power the vehicle however if the top speed is set to 265 and you go into a decline on the track and you stop holding down w the car will exceed it’s top speed easily by +100 sometimes. There are some bodyforces and stuff but I have tested multiple times and multiple combinations of some being off to no avail even if all of the forces on the server side are at 0 the car still manages to accelerate rapidly on declines when w is not held.
I can’t have this happen as it would make an unfair advantage / loophole in the game I am working on. Therefore I decided to make a post here to see if anyone could give me some advice, any help is appreciated.
