Verified Badge completely missing from the new Player List/Leaderboard

In the new leaderboard, verified badges are completely missing. This is almost certainly unintentional, as Plus badges are displayed, meaning there is indeed room/intention to display badges here.

This issue is widely corroborated among numerous users who have the new player list. This is not currently a widely released feature, it’s still in A/B testing, however this should certainly be fixed before a wide release.

The user pictured in the example below is @ValraSwag, who does have a verified badge that was not hidden.

Failure to display these badges in the way users would expect them to be displayed could lead to player confusion, impersonation, and an inconsistent experience.

It’s unclear to me if hiding the legacy Premium badge is intentional or not, but this isn’t being displayed either.

Expected behavior

A reasonable user would expect all badges, including Plus, Verified, Developer Hammer, Roblox Employee, Roblox Intern, special badges (including Shedletsky, RobloxSai, etc) to display correctly, as users would expect them to, and for the badges to hide when the Display My Badges setting is disabled.

Since when did they rollout an update to the leaderboard?? I haven’t gotten this change yet (and honestly I’m glad)

Antes que nada, yo no estoy verificado. Sin embargo, me uní a un juego con más de tres usuarios verificados y no aparecía en la clasificación. Cinco minutos después, desapareció, así que podría tratarse de una prueba A/B.

Yep, they’re actively A/B testing it.
Thanks for the further confirmation!

I hope that, overall, the new leaderboard is polished significantly before a wide release. There are significant issues. I don’t like all the empty space (the new leaderboard does not scale with the number of users in the server like the currently wide one does), the inconsistent padding in modals, the way text scales (long usernames look.. wrong), etc

It’s a feature that’s slowly rolling out to a small number of users (roughly 0.01% of users have this update as of August 3rd, according to Valra)
