I’ve been trying to upload a video for my plugin, but I keep getting the message “Video upload failed. Please try again”.
I’ve tried encoding my video differently each time, but it’s really a shot in the dark (as an aside it seems silly I lose 1 of my remaining uploads for a failed attempt).
Here’s the video if that helps. It’s 1080p and ~5.5 mb so it should be well within the constraints?

Not sure if this request can be the culprit or not, but perhaps helps to debug this.
Also, it should not count as upload if the upload failed. Have tried so many encodings and resolutions/sizes that now I am out of uploads “0 of 10 uploads remaining. Monthly upload quota resets on Aug 22, 2026, 12:20 AM.”
If it might help to debug things: I had the plugin falsely taken down, and I had video before that. And the original video was not there after the plugin was put back up.

We found and fixed a bug in this area just yesterday that might have fixed this issue.
How big (bytes) is the video file?
I tried with multiple, that were on the edge of 50mb limit, the smallest was 48 394 562 bytes
Thanks for confirming the file size! We’ve just rolled out an update to the uploader to handle larger files much better. Could you give it another try now and let us know if it works for you?

Is there a way to speed up my overblown limitation? Or get back those “slots”, that were erroneously taken away?
