Having issues with vinegar. There is a giant shadow on the baseplate that should not be, and the camera movement is horrible.
Note: I am new to linux.
Unfortunately, Native Roblox Client & Roblox Studio is not officially supported on Linux. If you got an unsupported version of Roblox Studio on Linux, all bugs and performance issues are to be expected.
Oh that’s sad. So there is no fix to it?
On your own, no. You’ll have to use any supported version in any supported operating system and that includes using Windows and Mac.
Ask on the VinegarHQ discord for help, they will probably have a solution there.

But I’d say try using x11 if you arent, when you restart your pc you’ll have an option between wayland and x11 in the corner (i think, idk where it is on that distro)

Try disabling DXVK and setting Renderer to Vulkan.
You can get to Vinegar settings by right clicking on its icon in application list and picking “Manage”.
Yeah, this was the solution that worked for me too. It depends on the users system though.
the studio crashed before opening, I guess I don’t have vulkan support which I have to install
you could also try ticking on the emulate desktop in wine options through vinegar (or whatever its called) (to fix the camera being snappy, but this could also be due to wine or roblox not working well with a high polling rate mouse, not sure), im personally on x11, not wayland or anything else and i never had this issue happen to me, only issues i’ve had with vinegar so far were flickering and widgets making the entire viewport go crazy, both which i fixed by toggling the renderer to vulkan and emulate desktop on in wine. i am on mint cinnamon 22.2.
MESA-INTEL: warning: Haswell Vulkan support is incomplete
The logs gives me this error. I think it’s related to my Intel GPU, I guess vinegar uses intel GPU of mine, instead of NVIDIA one.
Edit: I have hybrid laptop, with Intel GPU and Nvidia GPU both are old but good working one is GeForce GT 750M
Alright, I switched back to windows 11 sadly. It was the only option. Nevertheless, thank all of you for your help guys
