The lack of having it makes it harder for us to appeal, as we’re typically forced to use the regular support form, which while it has a similar option (Appeal a Decision → I was moderated for my behavior/behavior of an alt account) it is managed by an AI who 99% of the time auto-rejects everything and therefore we cannot properly provide information or to request unlinking the 2 accounts, if necessary.
Expected behavior
An option to unlink two banned accounts and directly appeal should be present in all accounts, which have been enforcement banned (falsely most of the time), and make the appealing process significantly easier than it is right now.
Hello!
I appreciate your help in this matter, but trying to appeal via the support form leads to nowhere as it is mostly handled by an automated AI, and therefore I cannot explain the situation properly as everything is just rejected without any explanation or transparency. Not to mention only 2 categories on there lead to a response, but it is 99% of the time an instantaneous rejection. That’s why I made this bug report, since the moderator note specifically states to appeal in Violations & Appeals, and the fact that newly banned accounts do have this option it’s just weird how everyone is forced to appeal differently. Manual human review of my case would still be the best outcome tho.
Thank you for your time!
Unfortunately that option don’t work, it’s either repeated messages by bots, instant denials without context from the person reviewing the moderation. If you can please look into this as many are being affected by this issue, and people are losing their accounts pass the 30 days mark. My account got hit with a false termination “wxInuts” that started from minor chat violations, which i wasn’t violating the terms of use to that extent to receive a termination. I hope this issue gets resolved for all, and we would all appreciate, if you could share to us any updates about this situation, and/or help us. Thank you, have a good day.
