This guide should be used by any staff who is training, interviewing or helping out as a helper at trainings. If you have any questions about anything in this guide, please feel free to ask any HR.

Interview Guides

— Information for Interviewers —
Interviews are all about guests who wish to join Vision as part of our staff team. This is a opportunity for them to show us that they will be a hard working and committed member of our team to help provide the best Vision service. Unlike submitting a application, guests who apply for a job this way have potential higher chances of recignition by HR+ team. To be an interviewer you need to be a Cafe Supervisor+. Your job is to ask the guest a series of questions, this range from short to long answers. Once you are asked to by the host to select candiates you should select one guest and take them through to an interview room. If there is no rooms left you may conduct the interview in the surrounding corridoors. Once you and the candiate is ready you can start asking the following questions:

  1. Why do wish to work at Vision Cafe?
  2. What do you wish to achieve by working at Vision?
  3. If you had to face a situation in the Cafe for example a troller, how would you react?
  4. How do you rate your grammar from 1-10?
  5. Do you think you have given your best attempt at answering these questions today?

Once you have finished the questions, please take your candiate over to a ranker who will review the answers they gave and decide if they passed or failed. You may be asked to interview more people once you have finished, if not go back to the waiting area and wait for further instructions from the host.
