Here at Vista Academy, our mission statement that underpins everything we do is to grow a community of excellence. In order to do this effectively, we require our community to live and breathe our Vista Values, enacting them whilst interacting with members of our learning environment in order to keep things positive and safe. Any member of the community failing to abide by our values will receive consequences.

Kindness: Kindness is the one thing that overarches everything we do here at Vista Academy. We expect all learners and community members to interact with each other in a way that is compassionate and kind. Anyone who fails to follow this basic guideline will be subject to consequences.

Curiosity and Passion: Being a learner here at Vista Academy requires passion, enthusiasm and curiosity in order for you to reach your full potential. We expect all learners to have a positive and open mindset to our curriculum, throwing themselves into every activity and pushing their boundaries in order to discover their true capabilities. We also want our learners to have curiosity; questioning the society around them in order for them to be rounded and eloquent members of society.

Manner and Maturity: Manner and maturity are two extremely important elements of our academy. We expect community members to conduct themselves in an appropriate way that does not intend to harm or offend any other community members. Trolling and non-realistic roleplay are two examples of behaviour we highly condemn and will consequence if we witness.

Inclusiveness: Here at Vista Academy, we are a community and therefore believe that every member is special. We expect community members to uphold our inclusivity standards by ensuring every member feels a sense of belonging.
