(This is my first topic so sorry if anything is wrong or done incorrectly)
I have successfully completed age verification with an ID, and have waited over 4-5 months, but voice chat hasn’t appeared as an option in my account communication settings or in a voice chat enabled game. I understand that it might need to just be rolled out to my account and that I’ll have to wait longer, but I just want confirmation that that is the case, and not my account being “bugged” somehow.
I have tried contacting Roblox via the support form, but kept getting the ‘support chatbot’, which doesnt resolve my issue. I have joined voice chat supported games and the feature isnt there.

Hello!
Voice Chat isn’t togglable inside account settings unlike text chat. You need to toggle it via the ingame settings tab inside a VC Supported game:

Ive heard that Australian users under 16 don’t get voice chat due to the new laws, and I live in Australia and am under 16, though I’ve read the official articles on voice chat and regular chat and it doesn’t mention anything about that, at least not that I know of
If anyone else would like to help or give advice, please do so 
Ooh, have you tried logging out & logging back in again? Or possible use another device, too.
Sometimes some things randomly fix when you just reset them. Not sure in the knowledge why, but, it just works. c:

yes, I have done almost everything, lol.
I have logged out and back in, tried different devices (well only my PC and my phone), tried reinstalling the app on both devices (I thought it might do something), I joined MIC UP for full confirmation its not on my account, and it kept taking me to the “How to get voice chat” area
Weird. Have you managed to test if Party Voice, if applicable, is working?
Sometimes you also need to enable mic access from settings if that doesn’t work, too.
i quickly joined a party with my friend and i dont see anything about using your mic. also there is nothing about voice/microphone in my settings
i havent used the party feature ever, so i dont know if i did something wrong
Party Voice needs to be with a trusted friend, not any old friend.
And when I meant settings, I meant your device settings, not Roblox settings.

I cant turn on microphone access for roblox in my device settings (im currently on PC, windows 11 if thats needed) because i havent used my microphone in roblox ever on this PC.
And the trusted friends feature is apparantly unavailable for me
It must definitely be your region, then. Maybe it’ll work once you’re 16+, since thats when the rest of social media is unlocked.

oh, ok, though my friend is under 16, in Australia and has voice chat. they are correctly age verified

I did a google search and it indeed said that voice chat was available from 13 in AU. Not sure what could be causing the problem, then…
The page also states that AU is included, too. I didn’t see any exclusions or changes in age anywhere though.

I talked to ChatGPT about this (I know, AI bad) and it said that it could either be two things: just a delayed rollout and I’ll have to wait longer, or a mysterious account issue. I’m hoping its the first one. If it’s the second one, I wouldn’t really know what to do. Roblox support doesn’t do anything

Could a staff member please tell me if this is actually true? I hope it’s not. The support chatbot says it is
I’m from Australia and have the same problem as well. However, I was given voice chat in November after verifying my age, but unfortunately, I don’t remember the time it vanished. I also noticed that the socials after the description of a game page, and on profiles/groups have disappeared too.
Edit: Also yes, I added a phone number.

Yeah, this could be from the under 16 law thing, but what age group are you in if you dont mind answering/me asking? if its above the 13-15 age group, that wouldn’t really make sense.
