I am trying to use the voice chat feature on the PlayStation version of Roblox.
However, when I join a voice-chat feature enabled experience, it doesn’t work.
I have a verified phone number/ email. My age is verified and my age group is 18-20.
Under Roblox’ account settings I have enabled voice data usage.
When I am in-game I use the correct microphone as input device. I also have the in-game voice-chat feature set to “Connected”.
Whenever I toggle it to “disconnected” and then back to “connected” it says “Mic Off” in the top left corner, although my Mic-Settings are all “on”.
Thank you for reporting the issue. We have not been able to reproduce it on our side.
Depending on the voice controls UI in your client, the voice chat mic mute/unmute button will be displayed in the in-experience controls on top of the screen or in the main menu as “Unmute Self”. Could you confirm if it is toggled? If you could share a screenshot - it would be great.
Do you see the “Mic Off” notification change as you toggle that button and/or the hardware mic mute button on the controller?
