This issue started for me 2 days ago even with Meta Roblox and other Users on a VR Discord Guild also complained about this issue.
Expected behavior
Voice chat to connect how it used to connect for PC VR with both oculus & steam link and also Roblox meta voice chat wasn’t working until today.
Actual behavior
Popup saying “Unable to access Microphone” with a description shows at the top of screen.
Sorry for the trouble! I’ve rolled back a change that should hopefully sort out the issues. Could you try again and let me know if it is fixed?
another thing, Roblox sometimes randomly closes/crashes completely when open vr/steam menu. and that also happens when leaving one game to join another.
Thanks for the heads-up on the menu issue. Since I’m on the voice team, I don’t know the specifics of the VR code. Could you link me to an existing devforum post about this bug? If there isn’t one, please create a new post so I can pass it along to the VR team. Appreciate it!
