VR tracking fails after restarting app and joining a game. (Meta Quest 2/3/3S Standalone)

When playing in any Meta Quest (Standalone), the game works fine with no bugs. Until you restart the app.

When you do so, and join a game, around 10-15 seconds later, the tracking system stops working, your hands stop being tracked, the headset doesn’t get tracked, and when you look around, you will see:

The game screen in front of you.
Another game screen behind you, but flipped
And the rest is just darkness.

The only solution I found were to restart your headset.

Repro steps (Meta Quest Standalone Only):

1: Launch Roblox app
2: Launch any game
3: Quit the app.
4: Re enter app.
5: Launch any game.
6: Wait 10-15 seconds.
7: You should have recreated the bug.

This bug can be really annoying since you have to restart your headset every time you want to play Roblox after previously quitting the app.

Unfortunately I cant provide any video since my Meta Quest has some recording issues. But this is super easy to reproduce.

PS. You must restart the app while playing a game or it wont work.

I believe this simply means that your game crashed. There’s probably a while true do end loop somewhere in your code, so your computer doesn’t have any free time to update your vr’s rendering.

This happens in ALL games, and it can happen even in the menu! Also It is not a crash because you can still see players moving and other objects moving around.

Also pressing the power button to put the headset into sleep and imminently turning it back on doesn’t work anymore :frowning:

Also also, I should have specified that I use the Standalone app and not PCVR, I just edited the post to say that.
