Walls/Assets disappearing

Objects seem to be rendering out at a certain angle, I noticed the issue happens when a MeshPart with SurfaceAppearance is welded to an object or humanoid (example: bullet holes), this issue has been going on for a whole year and hasn’t been fixed at all and I have finally decided to make a report since nobody else seems to be reporting this issue even though it happens in some other games as well

and also im pretty sure the bug is coming from Occlusion Culling disable it or ask roblox to

Have you tried turning off StreamingEnabled?

That’s just going to ruin performance.

StreamingEnabled isn’t the issue, this thing also happens in my new other game that’s completely different and unrelated to the one shown in the video, after me and my friend tested he found out that this happens with bullet holes (that are meshes using surfaceapparance) are welded to something that’s humanoid (players I guess)

Do you have a place where we can repro it? That would greatly help to narrow down the issue

Can you link the experience, then we can test on dev builds with asserts.

I’ve been seeing this a lot and getting many reports from my users. Here’s how it looks:

How often do your users get this bug? Do you know of any way or reproducing it reliably?

We haven’t been able to get a consistent repro when testing your game

All I can say is I have about 5-10 reports out of about 150 users since the 14th.

Personally on my machine (integrated cpu graphics) I’ve seen it 2-3 times since then but nowhere near frequently enough to narrow down a repro.

We’re still looking into this, but we can’t really repro, if you have any additional information or better way to reproduce it that would be greatly appreciated
