Part two of the Summer Content Drop is here! This update officially rebrands the game from Walworth County to Vista Springs. We have been thinking about rebranding for a while now, and we have finally decided to do it.
We decided to rebrand to help set us apart from a lot of the other games in the “County” genre. Because of the rebrand, all liveries and uniforms for the teams have been updated.
Openable and Closeable Car Doors, Trunks, Hoods, and Gas Caps
After two months of work, some cars have been updated to have openable and closeable doors! Additionally, you can now open your trunk and use the locker if you are on an LEO or FD team. You can also open your hood.
All updated cars in-game have also received the new driving interface UI. (Minus FD ones)
As you all will notice, some cars were removed; however, everyone has been refunded. If you bought a car with Robux, you have been given 100k for that car. (More Cars will be added in the comming weeks.)
Fuel System
Gas has returned for all vehicles in the game! Additionally, it has also been added for helicopters.
You can drive up to the gas station, open your gas cap, and then fill your vehicle with gas.
Helicopter Updates
Helicopters have received a couple of updates, including a new UI, a speed boost, and a new damage system.
Instead of being launched into the air when you hit something, helicopters will now explode. Helicopters also feature a brand-new spotlight that will lock onto anyone who is wanted within a nearby radius.
Optimization
We are hard at work optimizing areas of the game this update heavily focused on the cars as they were a huge issue however. We have identifyed other huge areas of lag with-in the game and have ended up removing some fruniture inside of the homes due to the imense lag they were causing. Addionally a couple items for the placeable propts have been updated.
Bug fixes and Improvements
- The blood effect on your screen when you die is gone.
- When you die, you can now move your camera around.
- The Mini-Map will no longer appear when you leave the customization shop.
- When you turn your steering wheel in any new car, it will now turn.
- You can no longer do “!wanted” while in Jail.
- Fixed bug where you have to click the car spawner multiple times for it to open.
- Your health will now slowly go up if you lose it.
- Cars will no longer instantly stop after getting out of them.
- Rocks have been removed.
- A lot of other random Misc things have been updated and/or fixed.
