So I’m trying to execute some sort of “reflector” behavior from a part, kind of like a reflective vest, or cat eyes on roads, so a surface that reflects light and starts glowing when light is shined at it, otherwise it looks normal without light, my question was, is there any way to replicate this behavior? if there was a simple way to detect illumination at a specific point this’d be easier, but unfortunately we can’t all have nice things.

You can try to achieve this by custom materials.
I believe the Foil material reflects light pretty well, and if you select a bright color, it should achieve what you want.

Take a mesh and use a surface apperance on it to make it more reflective.
