Waterfall Using Roblox Tools?

I’ve read multiple posts prior to writing this thread. Every single article didn’t have an answer on how to make your own waterfall. They all simply said, “Hey, use this plugin,” which I don’t want.

I want to create a waterfall using beams and particles. The only problem is I’m not sure where to start. I have tried that waterfall plugin, but it didn’t turn out how I wanted. This is why I want to do it myself. Especially since I’m a perfectionist.

Honestly, where would I start? I’d appreciate some tips.

Pretty sure that the MoveItSimulator in the Roblox template games (when you select “New” in Studio) has falls that are made with beams and particles. Could prob start by looking at those.

The way I see it done most often is to have a beam going from the top of the waterfall to the bottom, and have a water texture playing on the beam, then at the bottom have a particle emitter to simulate splashing water.
