Yeah definitely a productive week. $RBLX is several digits closer to zero. Let’s see an overview of the highly productive, useful, community-oriented improvements that Roblox Corporation has introduced this week to make our experiences as amazing as possible!
That’s odd. I thought Roblox’s absolute priority was user safety, which includes preventing developers from secretly storing, selling, and targeting users based on their age range. WAIT, Roblox has appropriate safety measures to prevent this, right!?
Close one!!! I almost though they were gonna let that go, but they politely asked us to not store it, which should solve 1000% of any possible (illegal) storage of users’ age. Roblox will be sure to check each data store to ensure that devs don’t check if users can chat with pre-verified bot alts to determine their age range. I am truly impressed at how much Roblox is doing to protect their community.
Amazing! Now ad buyers can choose their audiences that are most likely to enjoy their experience!!! (don’t worry, Roblox also included an update in 707 fixing those critically broken error messages that said “game” rather than “experience” as well)
As we all know, this new ads manager will absolutely NOT be abused and is 1000% abuse proof, and if there was an insane and totally not real case in which a developer tried making a condo game and advertised it to minors in front of Roblox’s face, the industry-leading AI-moderation will absolutely take care of it. Roblox has a long history of banning all inappropriate activity and would never let dating games accessible by children go unnoticed in charts for weeks.

My favorite part of this week: finally Roblox deleted those old “faces” that only 95% of the platform still uses and forced an update that is clearly based on “transparency and community feedback” as they promised. So far, the community feedback seems to be 1000% positive, and therefore, old unused deprecated widely hated 2d faces should be removed as soon as possible. And don’t worry, the new faces come with tongues too!
See, Roblox fully understands what the community wants – the classic look. This is completely non-contradictory and part of Roblox Corporation’s long-term messages to the world this week.
