A DigitsRigDescription needs a HumanoidRigDescription. And DigitsRigDescription is something new. Probably related to the recent Platform Avatar announcement. And Bones in HRD/DRD.

Roblox can create Enum.AvatarAbilityRules but Creators can not.

You wouldn’t have to green screen anything, if there was the option to do the thing… :thinking:

Roblox apparently will become unavailable on PS4 at some point, and you’d have to upgrade to PS5.

 

Chat

Channel Tabs

This isn’t really something new. But it’s speculation that global chat messages will be coming soon eventually.

I don’t know how confusing it would be though, if there’s a tab called “Your Server”. Apparently, it’s something separate compared to “General”… idk. I feel like it should always show System messages regardless of tab, maybe? :thinking:
If it doesn’t do it already.

Chat with more people in this experience. Only people in similar age groups can chat with you.

Avatars

So, once it said

Your classic head is now dynamic. Find all heads under the Heads category and adjust classic head shapes under Advanced Refinement.

But then it will say

Classic heads now support facial animations. Find all your heads under Heads, and adjust head shape and facial animations in Head Adjustment.

Interesting. I mean, maybe it makes sense. Because in R6 the Dynamic Head doesn’t apply and remains Classic… nor in the Avatar Thumbnail… so I don’t know…

And apparently, you can turn of the Facial Animations in the Head Shape Editor.

 

New makeup layers will always replace the oldest until you free a slot.

Safety

Let’s not call it Moderation, let’s call it Safety. Well… I don’t know what the posts about Safety being too safety unfairly, means.

In the past, there’s been a lot of changes to Safety.

For example, the bans being split up. There being Avatar Timeouts, Chat suspension being separate, etc. etc.

A lot of these solve some issues that would have otherwise gotten you locked out of the entire account, like some very small bugs regarding to Safety.

Safety Team, seems to be constantly trying to improve and explain rule violations, such as this one:

Summary

It’s against the rules to be disrespectful about specific moments that happened in the real world. This includes recreating or making fun of events or the people in them, especially when they’re sad or scary for a lot of people.

For someone who went through these things, seeing them recreated or joked about can be very upsetting.

Note that this is in context for “Real-Life Events”. I don’t think they’re talking about any Drama Genre related Roblox game, or Horror.

Now, I don’t exactly know if this mean that games that mimic Titanic or Natural Disaster Surival have a problem now.

But I think they’re referring to things that happened in real-life and not the natural disaster being “simulated”.

Now, I also don’t know what will evaluate if someone crossed this borderline. Explaining rules is always difficult. The difficulty starts already at, that you have to put them up in the first place.

I think they might just mean any game or user that taunts on real-life events in a bad way.

 

We found content in this Experience that breaks the rules of our Terms of Use. The owner needs to send an appeal to unlock this place.

I guess, when you start up Roblox Studio, you’ll get to know if a game was moderated? Not too sure. I think this is for Team Create.

I don’t know how many places get banned everyday. But if it is a lot, I am concerned what that means. Does it mean that automation is faulty, or that there are people re-creating casinos and other things 24/7…

I am still concerned about publishing a sole square and that automation one day will target it :confused:

I hope Roblox will address these worries after they’ve finished refactoring explaining rules and things.

Did they never promote this?

I do not know anymore, if they’re talking about Accessories or Publishing a full Avatar. If it does mean Accessories. I don’t know if they still tie it to Premium 1000 or 2200 do they?

I don’t even know why they name it like that, until I checked with this screenshot.

Other

I actually hate that Phone Numbers are still being used as a verification method. There’s too many problems with it. One is that pre-paid expire and subscriptions may expire, and changing countries and all this stuff.

It’s annoying. I hope that Phone Numbers will never get removed from everywhere… :thinking:
I don’t know what they can replace it with though.

I don’t think adding a Phone Number for any purpose of one-time verification is an issue. But the ability to use the Phone Number to recover an account sounds very risky.
