I don’t know how to explain it, but if i open a script, and swap back to the 3D view, if i check the window name, it says that im still editing the script, its annoying and i have to close the script’s tab when i do this.
theres a way i found to resolve it, but its only for the current place.
this bug also applies for when i open a script
Oh hey, I have this problem too! It seem to only appear when “SCRIPT” panel above (near PLUGINS) is visible.
This bug also seems to cause issues with CTRL + F.
Whenever I’m editing a script, if I press CTRL + F, close the CTRL + F UI, change to another script and then press CTRL + F, it will open it back up in the first script I tried using it. This has made using studio pretty much impossible for me, especially when dealing with big scripts.
Same thing here, even made a report as well
One option is to restart studio entirely and repeat the process whenever it happens again
But it’s really annoying ngl
Salutations!
Thanks for reporting.
It seems like we’ve received an earlier report with a very similar issue.
That topic is already acknowledged and assigned for investigation.
I’ll have to close this topic, but please, stay on the loop on the following thread for any updates or fixes that may come:
Thanks for your understanding and your patience.
Have a nice day!
May have had the wrong bug linked - it sounds more like [Temporary Fix] Select, Move, Scale, and Rotate permanently grayed out after opening scripts. If it is, this one is now fixed.
