Weird Connection Issue

Having some weird connection issue with Roblox where the site is always connecting and it just keeps making me reinstall Roblox or just doesn’t connect at all with an error message.

On the website profile pictures don’t load, everything is slow and it just has a constant bar that says connecting on the bottom of my screen.

If the game does manage to launch its purely in the background and terminates with this error:

So far I have tried the following:

  • Flushing my DNS
  • Changing my DNS to googles
  • Trying on Chrome, Firefox and Edge
  • Completely uninstalling everything Roblox related from my PC restarting and reinstalling
  • Clearing my browser cache
  • Uninstalling and reinstalling my browser

The odd thing is if I use a VPN none of this happens, is there some time of localized connection issue or something?

This error message is used when an early http request made by the game client to fetch configuration settings fails. We experienced a temporary increase in failures around the time of your post, but our metrics are looking better, are you having better luck trying to connect today?
