This is a mesh with a surfaceappearance texture and it’s getting this weird lighting glitch. Never seen this before

Please explain more in detail as some people may not know what you mean.

Has it got to do with the new indoor reflectance system?

Very weird, to explain @Varsitelle When its inside you can see that the gun has 2 colors, but when put outside, its all one color. I think it has something to do with the mesh itself not the lighting, but I’m not an expert.

Like what @MageOnix said all thats in that video is what I know. When I change lighting to future it seems to fix it but I don’t want to use future

Future lighing supports PBR the best, I’m not sure how well any other lighting supports PBR.

Hello, I think you were importing the gun. If so, here is what you can do to avoid this problem. You need to select the mesh in Blender and press Tab to open the edit mode. If you are in the edit mode you need to select everything by pressing A. Then you need to press ctrl + left shift + n. It will show a menu in the left bottom corner with a box you can click to enable something. You need to uncheck the box and then your mesh will be normal. You need to import the mesh again. You can also add modifiers like Weighted Normal or Edge Split if it doesn’t work.
