Weld preventing Cframe from moving part upwards

So I’m making a strut for vehicle extrication and I added a weld to the top part so the hinge constrain can pivot the strut, but now my c frame to extend the strut will no longer work, how should I fix it?

Cframe is controlled by the grey buttons and the green and red is the hinge.

Try unwelding it, moving it, and welding it back. Not sure if it works

It would fall through the map.
