What are the best undetailed builds?

Looking for undetailed, yet good looking builds to take inspiration from. From time to time I’ve seen massive maps that focus on the big picture without using smaller details. I have yet to see one that looks amazing but it should be possible for a skilled builder to pull off. Maybe there are some excellent builds of this variety that I’m just not aware of, and that’s what I’m looking for in this thread.

Underground Warfare [Alpha Testing] - Roblox This game has a simplistic style and is visually appealing is this the kind of stuff you’re looking for?

No, that still uses small parts to flesh out the detail of certain objects. I’m thinking more along the lines of getting a high mileage for every part used. Builds on that extreme side of the spectrum. I don’t know if pro builders would even bother with a low part challenge, but if so it would be interesting to see how they approach it.

Not too sure on if this counts as undetailed in your context, but The Vibe Cafe uses simplistic but attractive styles in terms of its build whilst not being graphically intense lighting-wise within a high mileage in terms of the size of the map.

I’m an amateur, but the way I go about doing it is imagining it in like a snowglobe. What are the details you need to include? It makes you have to be creative with how you build for most of that style 0.25 is the smallest change with is extreme to some.

Maybe Blood and Iron? I quite like the game’s building style, it’s simple and has just enough detail for its needs.

I highly recommend carrying out some research into Colour Theory for Games Development - the simplest of builds can be brought to life with the correct choice of colour
