What are the differences between certain script permissions?

I’m curious what the different script permissions mean and what type of script (local, server, core) can run at that permission level

Some script permissions can access objects/services that lower permissions cannot.

eg. Plugins are permission level 6, while regular script permission levels are 2. Plugins can access CoreGui, regular scripts cannot.

Most exploits are level 7 and above. Level 8 being System

So you’re saying exploits can use functions/objects/services that are restricted to level 7 and below?

Yes, they can. Many exploits use CoreGui as a place to hide their GUI’s from game scripts.
