Why not a round number? Slots reserved for game moderators / something similar?
96/4 player squads = 24 Squads.
I may consider 100 players with 5 player squads, though. It would make sense with the map scale.

I haven’t been developing too much because of my job but a little idea I had at the end of June I started working on when I got home last Sunday from RDC and I’m just working on patching some bugs before I start adding content. As of right now there’s not much to show for it and I’m still working on the whole idea but I think I got the MVP nearly finished.
mvp means Minimum Viable Product

Maybe it’s because there’s two teams and 25 doesn’t divide by 2
Oh you meant if there are 2 teams then 100/2 = 50, and 50 can’t divide into squads of 4
