Could you invest some time into explaining how you made that explosion? Maybe even making a tutorial? <3

I’m seeing a lot of great work in here, and I’m quite impressed with it. Otherwise, recently I had been working on something for myself – a game lobby if you’d call it, but I’ve been preoccupied with other occupations and such. Nonetheless, here’s some progress of it.

Very cool looking. Out of curiosity who has physics ownership of those cars? The driver?

Driver. I never thought the day would come when I would say this but:

Holy crap is roblox replication good. I was getting silky smooth movement both as a driver and when someone else drove and I was the passenger in online. It works so well. Tell whoever did the replication stuff recently that they absolutely nailed it.

Hmmm - sure I’ll look into that.

You could say that using particles is all about trial and error, and learning new techniques to create new things such as light, smoke, fire and dust etc; and once you know how you can then combine these elements together and then you can make some beautiful unique visuals.

Though I’ll think about putting a formal tutorial together for those who are interested.

It’s all more simple than it looks :stuck_out_tongue:

Not enough shaky cam or random bass heavy sound effects to be Bay

Just wait for RoVerse it’ll be a Michael bay movie for sure

Link me the game boi

This might be a different issue but is the first person camera of the passenger not jumping around due to networking? I remember this being a big limitation when I tried a similar thing a year ago.

Got my old jeep working with my new framework + constraints and it’s pretty fun. Results: click to play gif

Old concept:

To new real deal:

And yes there will be floors!

I know doesn’t look like much now but it will be much when finished… I’m taking my time with this to ensure that I’m using the lowest amount of parts possible… that and I’m still designing how Las Bloxia will be laid out since this structure is the main part of the place. This structure is less than 1,800 parts so far and consists of 0 meshparts or unions and is 100% genuine parts. I have a budget of 4,000 parts for the finished structure (interior and exterior combined) and an overall budget of 30,000 parts for the entire place, which will be mostly a street with 5-8 structures on it laid out to be kind of like the Strip.

Oh and the overall theme of the place is Lights, Money, Suits, fedoras and booze old fruit juice. In other words, I’m going back to my old style and building a nice looking place.
