Small digression
Looking at Roblox in 2025, a ton of emotions come out. Admiration, disappointment, condemnation, and support. But something’s been missing, and has been for a long time. I’ve always seen Roblox as something that could be much more than just a place for games and entertainment. And I’ve always wanted to create something that would change that. I think I’m succeeding.
This Christmas, a super-massive concept is being released. I’d call it a metahub, with the potential to encompass much more than just games: socialization and collaboration, co-creation, education, development and growth, a sandbox, and pastimes. I’m not afraid to say this is something Roblox has never seen before, because beyond the concept itself, it also extends beyond Roblox.
