What does the Massless property do? I have never used this property before.
There’s documentation on this that you can read BasePart.Massless
I have read: “If this property is enabled, the part will not contribute to the total mass or inertia of its rigid body as long as it is welded to another part that has mass.”
Question: What does Inertia mean?
“Inertia is the resistance of any physical object to a change in its velocity. This includes changes to the object’s speed, or direction of motion. An aspect of this property is the tendency of objects to keep moving in a straight line at a constant speed when no forces act upon them.”
So say the Massless property, when set to true on an object I want to animate, will make sure that when the animation is played, the forces won’t affect the animation from playing with that object?
I don’t believe mass should be affecting your animations. And even if it does, it should not full on stop it from playing
