The error:
The code:

Replace game.JobId with tostring(game.JobId)
That’s an internal C++ error. basic_string is one of the classes used in C++'s string library, and somehow it’s probably had an error working with a basic_string.
This would be thrown from the manipulation of either a std::string or std::string_view; these are the two main classes. When the C++ function receives the __newindex invocation, in this case it will see you want to modify the Text field. It will then check for a valid string on the Luau stack, or something convertable to a string - and it’s obviously passed this check as it didn’t throw Unable to assign property Text. String expected, got x. So it then attempts to call lua_tostring, which converts the raw Luau string on the stack into a const char*, which is a pointer to an array of characters - a C-style string. An std::string or std::string_view is constructed from this. Something has gone wrong at some point - maybe reading the raw string contents, or even during construction, and C++ threw an std::exception, which is basically just an error.
This is not a Luau error; this is a Roblox internal error. The reason you have only basic_string as the error is because Roblox actively decided to expose this error message to Luau (luaL_error(L, exception.what());) - maybe as a debug when the function was being written, I don’t know.
As a TL;DR: If it doesn’t affect your game, for example if the text still updates, you can probably safely ignore this.
Means just what it’s saying… You’re using a different type of variable than was expected.
But, can this one be fixed? I’m the one who likes the output and analytics to be clear.
Well you’re assigning a string to a string field, so I don’t think there is anything you can do about it, I’m afraid. Unless there’s some other niche part of your code which somehow causes this (I doubt it) you might just have to deal with it. If you’re 100% sure it’s not an issue with your code you could file a bug report about it if it persists.
