What does Volumika do?

So I don’t know if you guys know the plugin Volumika, but it is technically a plugin for Roblox that can makes lights able to achieve the Volumetric Light effect and some other stuff… But is it really worth it? And what does it actually do, is that just the Volumetric Light effect? Any help is appreciated!
