What exactly causes my parkour system to be so janky

I created a parkour system, it doesn’t really have any bugs and is works fine as a framework, but i realized that something feels janky about it, im not really sure how to explain it. The entire system feels so… disconnected, like the player isn’t actually interacting with anything

it could feel janky because the gravity seems low and the animations play kind of slowly but maybe you prefer that

maybe its the camera staying still when youre about to pull yourself up? thats what makes it odd for me atleast.

I’ll try testing with higher gravity and quicker animations then

oh the camera stays still because of the ledge grab, im not immediately climbing, theres also a grabbing state where you can move side to side

I solved it, i remade some of the animations, added more smoothing to specific moves and fixed the detection of certain obstacles
