I have a game where physical properties can have big outcomes in game play. and I never understood what friction weight meant. nor elacisty weight. And I couldn’t find any examples that I could understand.
I believe it is how much the roblox physics engine takes your custom friction and elasticity value into account when calculating its physics. The higher the weights, the more it will rely on your values vs the default values.

if you roll a block on ice and the ice has a higher frictionweight, it’ll slide. if the block has a higher frictionweight, it’ll slide less or not slide at all depending how high friction and frictionweight is. it’s also the same type of scenario for elasticity
