I have a game idea where it’s kind of like twitter but on roblox.

So basically, you can create posts, reply, talk, like, gain followers, etc.

And the goal is to become a famous celebrity on SocialMediaBlox (not the real name).

What do you think?

It’s a really nice idea. I even though of making something similar in the past,
I believe if you put enough effort into it, you can succeed and attract people.

Could be dangerous…? Would posting allow you to upload innapropiate things…? Would there be filtering and moderating to each post and chats…? If you are gonna add chatting to a social media game you might wanna moderate chats as it can be used for plenty of things.

I mean it is kinda necessary to have text filtering, it’s not like it’s an option.

The Posts : increase it each time u post, and decrease when u delete]
Likes: Add +1 when players like your post.
Following : Add +1 when you follow a player.
Followers : Add +1 when players follow you.
Cash: to your choice.

You could add +100 followers for 50 robux. (aka bots) That would make big bucks.

It would, but that feels like p2w and also, it would make the game not as fun because then you have real player followers mixed in with random bots. Idk what is best tho, cool suggestion!

I actually think this idea is really cool.

I have some suggestions:

  • Possible rebrand to something similar to Tik-tok? Players might get bored if their only option on the game is to send posts and such.

  • Add a social media town where they can go to different areas and take pictures to post about. This would make the game more interactive and could improve the playtime.
