I have tried making lots of different types of ads such as putting pop culture or memes on them or just text but very few of them have actually been successful so is there a good way to make an ad?
Use things that may grab people’s attention, for example add bright lights and other colors that stand out from each other. Then when people look at the ad, they’ll want to see what the game is about.
Exactly, I don’t have any experience with ads or anything like that, but when I see an ad that has multiple colors that DO stand out, it’s just harder to not look at them.
What you should do is NOT doing the same spammy ads that most people do, what you would want to do is making actually appealing ads that DO stand out, because most ads get ignored for being the same as the other ones, try making an ad that makes you want to play a game, like a brief description, like if you are doing a game about fighting, you should do an ad that makes the viewer know that it’s a fighting game.

I will take this into consideration as my previous ads were edited in microsoft paint and usually had the game characters saying something like: “play now!”
I once included a Join Group button in my ad and received a Warning for it. This is something you probably shouldn’t do.

Stuff like “Play now!” Is just going to draw people away, because if someone tells them to do something, they will lose the will to do it, even if they already wanted to do it.
