Some of my opinions:

  • Most windows are not that low, make them a little higher.
  • Try elevating the entire building and add some steps into the building near the front
  • Add some decoration around the exterior of the house! It seems very dull just being wood all around. Maybe add some wreaths if you’re looking into a Christmas theme.

Anyway, dont listen to naysayers. Be happy with your developing skill. It takes time. Constructive criticism goes a long way.
Think of a place in real life, and base it off of that. Find some images on google for reference art. Maybe search log cabin, or something similar.

With that reference art, you’ll be able to find the little details you desire.

Also, have a look at where your windows sit in your house, compared to the size of your door, and measure your body from floor to where the window starts. Use a dummy to measure things in your game.

You’re on the right track. Keep up the good work.

You could try adding supports, for example:

You can see there are two large beams on the side, and sort of detailing going up to the roof, try creating some supports for the roof and sides to frame the walls better

Suggestions for improvement:

  • Make the walls and roof a different colour, perhaps making it darker or lighter on each.
  • Make sure the walls are the same colour, half of it looks like it is lighter than the other? However, this may be because of the lighting.
  • Add more detail to the chimney, maybe place another part at the top to help make it more understandable for the person seeing the build.
  • Add more detail to the windows, do not always include the same type of window like shown in the images above. Try and include some without detail and some with detail.
  • Make the plants in the front smaller, looks way too high.
  • Extend the roof upwards, looks way too flat.
