Please correct me if this is the wrong category
So, I have been making a game for the last month, and I just thought about how generic it is.
My idea was making a anime-styled fighting game that was inspired from Rivals.
Ofc again, generic.
So now I’m wondering what I should do.
I had another idea for an open world, game that took inspiration from hollow knight, and deepwoken. but I wanted to just go for a darker theme, that was more focused on the story.
And by story no I don’t mean reading dialogue for 50 years, but more of just witnessing the stuff around you, which the game delves into the themes of grief and what not.
Along with that theres also going to be PvP, or PvE, cause well, I like fighting lol.
My main concern is it being to generic, so I would like some advice on how I can steer clear of that.
Also would this game like, work? Roblox might not be the best place for a less light hearted game
Any ideas?
I really just need your thoughts cause I’m second guessing everything lol~
