I am making a Roblox Lua proficiency test, and there will be two levels: basic certification and advanced certification. However, I don’t know if “basic” sounds good. It might make people think it’s really simple certification. Should I change the wording I use? What word should I use?
I think basic certification sounds fine but you don’t have to trap yourself within the confines of the word “certification.” NFPA’s fire certs are just called the Firefighter 1 and 2 exams and I feel those work well despite how simple they are.
Think about what you want to teach and which efforts are needed.
Basic means ‘the basics’, everyone understands that. But what means ‘Advanced’?
Try to figure out the goals and you will find proper names to descripe the course direct by title.
I think basic sounds fine, but I would have to see the test itself before giving you a definite answer. Is it simple variables and functions? Or does it go into more advanced areas like datastore?
