I’m trying to create a decent Roblox game to hopefully make a small amount of money, but I don’t know what to make. I don’t want to make something to big, so what are some ideas that are smaller, and easier to make.
First we need to know the basic knowledge about Lua Programming.
And try to discover more games in order to get ideas to make your own game.
Think about your motives, are you gonna make this game for fun or for learning.
Then the last thing which I would like to say is that, think about the player’s who are playing your games, are you going to make your game as pvp or a kind of creative mode.
Pretty much anything can be simple if you make it simple. For example, an obby. It can be super complex or super simple. The more effort you put, the more the people will want to play your game because of it’s uniqueness which can sometimes attract more players leading to a bigger chance of revenue. If you need some simple ideas, read below.
- Obby (As stated previously) Ex. Exploration cave, you do jumps through a lava cave and then go to the end and greeted with a badge. (Obviously there would probably be more)
- Do commissions for someone
- Tycoon (They sometimes do well but lack originality when less time is put into it.)
- Club Game (If done right and is advertised, these can end up making money.)
- Donate till (insert amount) (This is probably the least favored option and most of these games end up flopping.)
Adding onto this, do something that you enjoy making and then try and test if you can get profit out of it.
