I’ve been working on this for a few days up until now i ran into this problem where i had to light this gigantic room and the problem is i would have to spam a lot of light even then i’m not really satisfied with the result so i was wondering if there’s any efficient way to light up this gigantic room
and no. second picture is just exposure all the way up just so you could get the idea of how big the room was.
I do have a suggestion as how you could better light up the place
(Apologies for the bad drawing : doing this on mobile and i have writing/drawing issues)
The white lines are essentially the lights
Dont feel forced to do this, its just a suggestion as to how you could add more light into your room
I’ve tried that beforehand but it just reflects to a wall and ceiling which isn’t what i want exactly to be specific the light rendering i’m not sure what they’re called just sort of creates weird shadows too so i might have to manually use pointlight/surfacelight on that part but thanks
Nevertheless i’m still unsure of how much light is too much since it’s not even a full room yet and i’ve been using like 47 lights already (it’s dim yes that’s how i wanted it to look mostly)
make the actual lights invisible, but put “fake” lights (neon parts) in places that look good, like what Dark mentioned.
also the build looks cool, keep it up! ![]()
