What's your opinion on the recommended Ads Manager budget? Should I trust it?

Hello! I’ve recently noticed the new Ads Manager which makes it easier to create ads.

I’ve seen that the new Ads Manager will give you recommendations, including how much you should be spending on your Daily Budget.

What’s your opinion on this recommendation, should I follow it? Or should I go with setting a custom (higher) budget for less days? Please let me know!

well its really hard to say it all depends but usually its pretty solid because its optimized to bring the most plays in as possible. But you should monitor it and change it depending on what you see for example on weekends like Friday to Sunday where there is the most players, but also the most ad competition bump up your daily budget so you can keep your game in the leading position. The new ad manager pretty much optimizes it as much as possible here the forum post: Leveling Up Ads Manager With New Features I hope this helps

I’ve heard some say it’s overall cheaper and easy to garner players…really hard to find reviews on the new system just due to how new it is. Would you say overall it is more worth using than the old ad manager?

Currently running two games with similar concepts, one is on the old ad manager, the other on the new ad manager. I’ll let you know the results if anyone is curious.

I’m personally very curious, and would be very thankful if you decide to share your results

That would be great. There is almost no information on the differences

Ads have finished. Honestly I don’t see much of a difference. All of the stats between the two are almost identical. Apparently this new system is AI powered or something? So based on the fact you can’t set a certain demographic I’m assuming it uses AI to determine which demographic (not 100% sure), although I did have nearly the same CTR with the new ad manager compared to the old manager where you can set your own demographic.

What about the specific game’s analytics? Was there any visible difference in the types or demographics of players that joined?

Honestly not really. The new Ad Manager just seems like a simpler way to run ads. Not only is the UI more user friendly but it also seemed to reach my target demographic without having me input them.

Awesome insight, thanks for letting me know!

I agree that the new UI is much more intuitive (I no longer have to double check everything I input).

If anything, I’d like to know what you think relating to the original point of my post. Did you use the “recommended” budget set by the AI? Did you input a custom budget?

I actually did not use the recommended budget. I inputted my own budget to match the budget of ads running off of the original ad manager for a fair comparison. Although that is something I’d have to try out some time.

From the limited info there is on the subject, I have heard that the recommended budget has done it’s job fairly well and was able to get a decent amount of plays at a cheap price. Don’t take my word for it though haha. I would love to test that some time.

Thank you for the insight! For now, I’ll keep this topic unsolved until someone gives a more concrete answer.
