From what I know so far, buffers are basically a way to optimize your networking, my question is, when should they be used? Should they be used for events that fire often such as visuals? Or when? Do they serve other purposes?
i think buffers should be used like storing a file into memory, a editable images for example.
low level like manipulations (as person above me mentioned editable images)
and data stores.
You can use them with unrealiable remote events to compress data further ALTHROUGH for sending it across network you must natively use buffers for this sake and not using any bloatware like “serializers” or khm khm “network” libraries.
Aka if you already have a table then send it the table.
The profit comes when you use buffers for memory manipulation and not just compressing (evil).
Main use of buffers in network is to send player’s camera direction and that basically it.
