Whenever I try to open Roblox Player, it says: “Roblox encountered an unexpected error.” This also happens when I try to open Roblox Player through any game. This problem started on 09/20/2025.

CPU: AMD Athlon 3000G with Radeon Vega Graphics

Expected behavior

I expect Roblox Player to open without any problems.

seems you have something called “Fishstrap” installed, which modifies the Roblox installation, try installing a clean Roblox installation and reply back if that doesn’t work.

Roblox is already aware of the issue. It’s only affecting AMD processors.

For now, we’ll have to wait for a fix, or you can try the temporary solution the mod provided.
The mod asked for people’s processors, you should give him yours as well, since it’s Athlon.
