When using PBR the part has to be a square

I have started using PBR for a game I’m working on, but something cropped up that really irritates me.

When I use PBR textures compared to ordinary textures the PBR part must be square but with ordinary textures I can set a image size in studs and I can make it a rectangle.

If you don’t understand what I’m saying (I don’t blame you) here’s a picture for reference:

I was hopping for some advice on how to speed up PBR texture creation.

Unfortunately, there isn’t a way to fix that or get around it without it being compressed or elongated. I think you could definitely make a feature request out of this and perhaps they can listen to your feedback and allow PBR to not rely only on square/cube shapes.

Yea it’s supper annoying I was dreading there would be now work around. And I mean if they can do it with ordinary textures they should be able to do it with PBR.
