When will we get Vertical ID's to go through Persona's verification?

Browser Information: Edge 151 on Windows 11

  1. I go to my profile settings on the page, and I click on the “Continue with ID” option on there.

  2. I select the State ID verification, as I have acquired one recently.

  3. However, when I scan it, since it’s in Vertical ID form, Persona’s verification system does not accept it.

Expected behavior

This being an issue that has been discussed about for almost a year, I would have expected it for Persona’s verification system to pass the ID through even if it’s in a vertical form.

rotate the id sideways to fit the frame, worked fine for me

also, this is a persona thing and not a roblox thing

It could be an issue with how some ID’s are formatted as well. For example, some of the information are not lined up with how the Persona’s AI detects the ID. But so far, even when contacting them myself, it would always end up routing back to basically them saying, “speak to Roblox about it.”

Unfortunately, this still doesn’t work. I had to submit my passport instead.

I see. Either way I hope that this issue gets the attention it needs as it still affects a large number of developers. It’s very disappointing.
