Hey everyone,
I’ve recently made this game and grew it to thousands of daily active users.
However, looking at the acquisition tab, it keeps saying that there are players coming from the “Other” source.
This makes up almost 1/5 of my players, and I’ve hidden the game from every possibility of discovery except for finding it on the other sources like home recommendation, search, etc.
There haven’t been any large YouTube videos or any other content made on the game, and I have no idea where this is coming from. This is also happening for some of my other games aswell.
If I’m not wrong, it may just mean that people were linked directly to your game either through external platforms like a YouTube video or just someone sending their friend the link to your game through somewhere like on Discord.
Roblox doesn’t know how these Players ended up there, so they’re counted as “Others”.
Right. However, I’ve searched and there seems to be no content made on the game that would account for the amount of players we’re getting (2.5k). It’s also near impossible that the game link would get sent around off-platform that many times.
