I understand the basics of scripting and have been wanting to script for the past few months but have been feeling overwhelmed with what scripts I should write and left me feeling dejected from scripting.
Where should I start in scripting? Maybe some beginner scripts to start out on.
In my opinion, once you’ve learnt a topic, practice it.
Do some fresh examples of that topic, and then move onto the next topic.
I don’t think I can specify you, the choice is yours, I can advise you to start with the easy ones. But only when fully understand the topic of that script - aka what it does.
Make a simple game with a few things you have learned, for example Obby, when you make it you will experience some problems, such as how to make a killBrick, teleportation and others, well that’s where you learn how to script, you will get used to it in a long time and the longer the knowledge you get, the more
Then I suppose learning more about functions and variables would be a good place to start?
